- Send for your own credit reports from Experian and Equifax, and contact anyone you owe money, and pay them off, or correct any mistakes.
- These credit repair companies are a complete rip off....Please take my advice as I do work for a bank. They will ask you for £50-£150 and they say they will clear your credit file.....in affect they do they completly wipe it for 30-60 days. What they do is send letters off to the companies you have defaults, CCJ's missed payments ect...and they go into an investigation as the credit repair company will dispute it, but 9 out of 10 times it will not wipe anything in the long run off your file as they were lawfully put on your file. The best way to clean up your file is to carry on making your payments on time and pay off any outstanding defaults or CCJ'c eventually it will get better. check out your score with bothe equifax.co.uk and experian.co.uk. 0-400 score poor. 400-700 fair and 700+ good. the better the score the better the chance of credit. Hope this helps.
- Why don't you go and have a chat with an Insolvency Solicitor, they are very helpful
- There is no such thing as a credit repair company. Get your credit report and see what debts you have . Then start paying regular payments . You will soon see a result. Unfortunately there is no quick solution.
