Is there anyway to get my ipod repaired with money order or check?

Hi i am a young boy who is looking for a way to get my ipod repaired without having to hassle through credit cards. So far i called apple and asked about the repairment, and they told me to go online to get a repair service number or something like that. i went to there and said that itwas 39.98 to fix my nano and it took me to a credit card page, this was not good. Not anyone in my family has a credit card but my sister and she is afriad fradulent so she then told me to go to the apple store. 3 months later i have not been there and my sister was just lagging on me and besides i do not think the apple store will help much but tell me to ship it in paying with a credit card. Finally today i have decided that i need to find help. That is why i have come here to ask this question in order for me to somehow ship my ipod with check or money order to apple.

  1. If you can show or tell your sister this, tell her that when ever you view a secure web page (especially a top and trusted websites like Apple), that they have a picture of a "lock" at the bottom right-hand side of the browser to indicate that any purchases and information used on that web page for that purchase, and the page after that, are encoded in a 128-bit encrypted message, and can _only_ be seen by the owner of the web page. If she has ever logged into her banks website, every bank use this 128-bit encryption to make sure all their customers privacy is kept, well, private. I have purchased music and programs from Apple, so have millions of other people (iTunes music store). So far, there have been no complaints that I have ever heard of that indicate that Apple has done anything wrong. As for using a check or money order, I don't think Apple will take payments like that. They have to process millions of transactions everyday and wouldn't have time to take check or money orders to be cashed out.
  2. Apple is secure so beg to use card or just get it into the store!
  3. The best and cheapest option is to send it into apple if it still under warranty (if its not, then that's a different story). We have sent several ipods back to Apple and have not had a problem. We repair ipods and sell replacement parts on eBay (ipodparts) and the web (ipodpartsonline.com) and we accept PayPal. You sister could set up a PayPal account and then you could use that to buy the replacement part or repair service. PayPal is secure and whoever you send the money to, will not get her credit card information. As a last resort, we could work something out with a money order. If you would like to try that, please email us at ipodparts@hotmail.com.
