does a credit card issue number really matter?
i used a online cd repairing serveice, i filled in my card details, however i did not put in the issue number, can the payment still be made with out it??

- what is a issue number. have been using credit cards for almost 15 year and have not yet heard of the trem issue number,.
- aren't issue numbers only used for debit cards? well, it depends on the service, i've paid before with the wrong name and address and they still took my payment so best you could do is just give them a ring or wait till they deduct money from ur account
- It depends on whether you mean the issue number or the security number. People often confuse them. The issue number is the number of cards issued to the account.
