Credit repair service for someone with no debt but negatives in the past.?

I have been trying really hard to improve my credit. I payed everything off but I have negative payments in the past. I'm looking to hire a legitamite company for help. I managed to get a secured card and a credit card with terrible fee's and low credit but my score acually went down 5 points even after 6 months of good payments and I just dont get it. I want help. The three credit burues dont even have the same info on me and i dont even understand the terms they use.
