Has anyone used Lexington Law to resolve credit issues? If so, what are your thoughts on their service?

- You don't need anyone to do it for you. All they do is negotiate your debts for you and collect a fee. You can do it yourself! Call all of them and work out a payment plan and try to get your interest lowered or stopped. If you want to earn money, you will have to get a real job. You can't earn a living answering surveys (which really just collect info on you!) on the Internet. No company is going to pay good money for that when they can simply provide a survey link on their receipts and get ACTUAL CUSTOMERS to tell them what they thought of their services or products (for free!). Then, make the minimum payments on every one of them. On the lowest dollar value, put all your extra effort toward paying it off. Once it is paid off, then roll that extra money to the next largest balance. Continue this snowball until all your debts are paid off. You probably need to cut your expenses back to the bare minimum. Get rid of cable, cell phones, internet, etc. Lower your electric bill, gas bill, water bill, etc. Don't eat at a restaurant until your debts are under control. Take a sandwich for lunch. Cancel the gym membership. Try to increase your income by getting a second job. If you have a car with payments, get rid of it, and buy a good dependable used car for CASH. Go to the library and get "The Total Money Makeover". Read it and follow it carefully. Go check out Dave's website as well. www.daveramsey.com
- I'd keep looking if I was you. I typed lexington law into Google and it pulled up almost entirely full of scam and ripoff reports. Legitimate companies don't let that happen to themselves.
- Yes, I did use them and i recommend them too! However, do NOT expect them to do all the work for you and this is likely to be the biggest complaint you hear from users. I'm never suprised at how many will hire Lexington Law and think that all they have to do is pay fees and miraculously their credit is restored perfectly! I'm glad I did use them and would do so again, but you will need to be in the loop every step of the way and be ready to furnish copies of your credit reports and scores so they can properly help you. One of the biggest categories for challenging negative items on your credit report is the category-Misleading! Lexington Law will NOT negotiate legitimate debt with your creditors. Lexington law WILL assist you in removing negative items off of your credit report that are Incorrect, Misleading, Inaccurate and Unverifiable! I got 10 items legally removed this way even after 2 of my creditors tried to re-age the debt and put it back into my credit reports! Go to my website and read it all because I went through ID theft and bankruptcy and now my score is up from 486 to 730 in a little over a year! Lexington law was a legal firm that helped me get my score up 140 out of 236 points, so this is something I know a lot about! My more difficult creditors hit me with every stall tactic known to scam and they pushed right through it and got most items removed! I talked a bit about how to use Lexington law in my website along with many things you can do yourself including how to recognise scam artists! Another recommendation, get a credit monitoring service like Equifax 3 in 1 so you can grant them access to your credit reports in real time and this will go faster and definitely read my website!
