- You cannot repair your credit by paying a company/organization to erase bad debts off your record, you need to go to a consumer debt counseling agency to have them help you get better credit. with a score of 510 you won't find lenders willing to take a risk on you. You may be able to get a credit card or two, but no loans, unless the interest is so outrageous that you cannot afford it. Seeing as how your credit is already horrible, I take it that you can't afford to pay astronomical interest rates for a loan. So, seek credit counseling to get your credit in order.
- You need to repair your credit yourself, then wait a few months and see where you are again. If you wanted to take a loan you would pay up the nose on interests. Not only that, with all the defaults, they are not lending money out that easily.
- I completely agree with Mark.....with this low score you would not get a loan and even if you get a loan the interest rates would be too high for you to pay....Only credit repair agency can provide you loan with a lower rate of interest as they are meant for that....If you want you can try this source ezconsolidation.com which provides loan at a lower interest....
- at a 510 credit score your lucky to get a credit card. There are however high risk banks out there that will accept you but your interest rate will be in like the 25% to 30% range Which is completly ridiculas if you ask me..
- With a score of 510, there's not too many lenders that can give you a loan. And the credit repair companies, most of them are scams... You have to re-establish your credit yourself. Just pay your bills on time and be patient. Your score will improve.
- Ok lets be honest . First off 510 is a horrible score but it can be fixed. The law states that anything on your credit report can only remain on it for a max of 7 years. First what i would do is check your credit report and see if you have anything of 7 ears or longer on it. Then write a letter to each creditor demanding they take it off. - Repairing bad credit is a simple process. 1) Obtain credit reports 2) Find "Inaccuracies" 3) Dispute them The daunting task is to keep up with all letters, notifications, phone calls and whole nine yards. This requires lot of dedication and time. I would suggest you to involve a professional, if you wont be able to dedicated time and energy to this process. I got my repaired from AmeriFico, a dfairly new company in Dallas Texas, but they did an excellent job. I started seeing results in 2 months.... i am talking about 60 days.. Can you beleive it?
