what can a credit repair service do that i cant do myself? What is it that credit repair agecies do to get things removed that i cant do myself. I have appt. with a repair agent but am on the ropes on wether i want to use the service or not. I mean he says it will take 45days to get things removed which sounds like he is just writing dispute letters.

do those credit repair services work? do those credit repair services work. i have spoken to a few of them and they told me that they are able to get late satisfied payments off my credit report and the also told me that they are able to remove a bankruptcy off my report that is 8 years old. how do they work and what is desputing and item mean.

Credit repair service for someone with no debt but negatives in the past.? I have been trying really hard to improve my credit. I payed everything off but I have negative payments in the past.
